Larry Clark Howeth

Larry Clark Howeth, passed away on July 1, 2022 at his home in New York, Texas with his beloved family right at his side. Larry was born on June 6, 1944, to Clark and Opal Howeth in the New York Community.

Larry has been preceded in his death by his parents and his much-loved daughter, Holly Howeth Baldwin, who we all know is basking in the opportunity to see her Daddy again.

Larry grew up in the New York area and lived there most of his life. He spent his early years helping his parents and grandparents around the farm and in the hot watermelon patch. When he found a break he would spend his time hunting, casting out that hula popper in a fishing hole, or finding the best swimming hole around.

He graduated from LaPoynor High School in 1962 and almost immediately became his own boss, not to mention meet his beautiful wife of 59 years.

Working as a farmer nearly his entire life, this was a man who had found his passion. He was never too busy to take time out of his busy day to make time for his family. Whether it be taking the family on long road trips or going fishing with the grandkids, the memories were always cherished.

He was a man of many hobbies and talents. His free time was dedicated to playing the piano better than Jerry Lee himself, playing the guitar, studying maps and history, and hunting arrowheads. He was an active member in LaRue Baptist Church and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Howeth; son, Tandy Howeth and wife Jill Howeth; brothers, Connally Howeth and wife Debbie Howeth, Hal Howeth and wife Sue Howeth; grandchildren Tanner Burch, and wife Samantha Burch, Cade Baldwin, Cole Howeth, Lane Howeth, Madison Roach, Breelyn Roach; great grandchild, Katelyn Holly Burch; also surviving are two nephews and one niece.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 10 a.m. at New York Baptist Church, immediately followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m.

Memorials can be made to LaRue Baptist Church.

Randy Reed Jared

A memorial service for Randy Reed Jared (Paw), 55, is scheduled for Saturday July 16, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Frankston with Charles Whitt officiating.

Randy (Paw) was born Sept. 21, 1966, to Ronny Jared and Jane Mills and entered eternal life on July 12, 2022. If you were lucky enough to know him, you would know that he was very fond of his naps. He worked as an electrician’s apprentice, loved music, loved “Yellowstone”, and was known for his amazing pen and pencil drawings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronny Jared.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Jane McKinnon of Berryville and his children, daughter Randi and husband Richard Hobbs of Coffee City, daughter Abbie Jared of Berryville, daughter Brittanny and husband Robert Dudley of Coffee City and daughter Jordan Jared of Tyler. His siblings are Alicia and husband Chris Williams of Berryville and Rodney and wife Brenda Jared of Kaufman. He is also survived by five grandchildren Noah, Elijah, Tessa, Charles, and Callen as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, father-in-law, and grandfather to all his family. Our time with him was far too short, and we will all cherish the time we were graced with.

The Honorary Pallbearer is The Late Steve Housley, his best friend of many adventures.

Pamela Leigh Ellis Murphy

A funeral service for Pamela Leigh Ellis Murphy, 64, is scheduled at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Autry Funeral Home in Frankston with Bro. Larry Wickham officiating. She will be laid to rest at Frankston City Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Pamela’s family from 6 to 8 o’clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Frankston.

Pam passed away peacefully in a Tyler Hospital on July 16, 2022 following a long illness.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Joe Murphy of Frankston. Pam is also survived by her daughter Sarah and husband Kyle Dezern of Trenton, son Scott and Jillian Murphy of Columbus, OH and Stephen Murphy of the Colony. Pam is also survived by her brother Mike Ellis and his wife Robin of Arlington, sister Leslie Green and her husband Darryl of Mont Belvieu, brother Kevin Ellis and his wife Johanna of Mont Belvieu, and Keith Ellis and his wife Suzan of Whitehouse, along with her brother-in-law Larry Wickham and his wife Nancy of Tyler.

She is preceded in death by her infant daughter Rebecca Lynn Murphy; her parents Ralph and Paula Ellis, and in-laws Jack and Erma Murphy.

Grandchildren are Kayla and Dallas Dezern and Ryan Murphy, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pam was a lifelong resident of Frankston and graduated from Frankston High School in 1975. Later she graduated from Texas Eastern School of Nursing. Pam’s greatest joy in life was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and was a proud, lifelong member of The United Methodist Church of Frankston.

Pallbearers are Scott Murphy, Stephen Murphy, Kyle Dezern, Mike Ellis, Kevin Ellis and Keith Ellis.

If desired, donations may be made to the The United Methodist Church of Frankston Rainbow House Food Pantry or the Frankston City Cemetery fund.

Travis Fowler

Travis Fowler, 91, of Frankston, passed away on July 28, 2022.

Travis was born on Dec. 10, 1930, to Crayton and Emma (Seagroves) Fowler in Salem, Texas.

Travis served in the Army during the Korean war. He was a Mason for 50 years and was a faithful member of the Assembly of God  in Frankston. He worked at the Chevrolet dealership in Frankston for many years.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 1, 2022 at Autry Funeral Home in Frankston with Bro. George Folmar officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. He will be laid to rest at Frankston City Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sudie Fowler; his parents; and several brothers and one sister.

Left to cherish his memory are his three stepchildren and sister, Dorothy Williams; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Fowler, Jacky Kinard, David Kinard, Michael Moore, Larry Sexton, and Kevin Clakley.
