Jimmie Ray McLane

Memorial services for Jimmie Ray McLane, 79, of Frankston are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. J. A. Griffin and the Rev. Blake Dover officiating. Burial will be at Frankston City Cemetery.

Mr. McLane passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, in Tyler.

Jimmie was born August 1, 1934, in Frankston. He graduated for Frankston High School in 1953 and joined the United States Army. He served in the Army from 1955-1957.

He is preceded in death by parents Lee Andrew and Ruby Dickerson McLane; brothers and sisters, Jennia Vandora McHale, Robert Lee McLane, Billy Lewis McLane, Peggy JoAnn Baxter; nephew Bo McHale; parents-in-law Nathan Forrest and Mary Ruth Murphy Williamson.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joyce Williamson McLane; daughter Teresa Lynn Taylor of Odessa; grandchildren James Andrew Taylor, Ashley Reneé Taylor, Kyle Dexter Taylor; great-grandchildren James Wytte Taylor, Undyeen Harp, Connor Matthew Taylor, Kyle Dexter Taylor, Jimmie Ray Taylor; brothers and sisters, Martha Jane Hicks of Frankston, Wylie Morris McLane and wife Emma Lee of Vidor, Wanda Dorris Houston of Frankston, Mary Louise Phillips of Tyler, Jackie Belle Forester of LaRue, Margaret June Brown of Frankston; brothers and sister-in-law, Clifford Frank Williamson and wife Barbara of Bullard, JoAnn Williamson McKowan and husband George of McKinney, Nathan Forrest Williamson and wife Betty of Tyler, Charles Earl Williamson and wife Kay of Carthage; 21 McLane nieces and nephews; 9 Williamson nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 pm Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Autry Funeral Home in Frankston.

Stan Busnick

Services for Stanley Paul Busnick, 55, of Frankston were held Wednesday, Nov. 27 at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Burial followed in Concord Cemetery in Chandler, Texas.

Bill Bivens and Vernon Edwards officiated the ceremony.

Stan died Nov. 23, 2013, in Tyler. He died suddenly after a diagnosis of cancer.

He was born Nov. 29, 1957.

He is survived by his son Jay Statler, daughters Ashley and Andrea Busnick, brother Carl Busnick, sister Gail Keifer and grandchildren Terry Rackley and Kaleb Edenfield.

Pallbearers were Brian Elmore, Willie Montgomery, Terry Rackley, Pete DeVoogdt, Andy Atkinson and Jason Rackley.

Joan Moseley

Graveside services for Joan Moseley, 80, of Frankston were held Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, at Frankston City Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Wiley officiating.

Roger McDonald played the violin. Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home Frankston.

Mrs. Moseley passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, in Tyler.

She was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Ben Wheeler.

Joan was a school nurse with Frankston ISD. for 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Frankston.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leland and Moette Davidson; son David Moseley; and daughter Jacky Brady.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years Bill Moseley; granddaughter Nancy Whetstine; grandson Jon Perez of Tyler; and great-grandchildren Jon William Perez, Stevie Whetstine, and Davie Whetstine.

Kristi Vickers

Mrs. Kristi Vickers, 57, of Crockett, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, in the Huntsville Memorial Hospital. She was born July 16, 1956, in Carthage, Texas, and had lived in Crockett since 1972. Mrs. Vickers was retired from the banking industry and was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Crockett.

Survivors include husband Jack Vickers of Crockett; father Gerald Fuller of Laredo; father Walter Cook of Grapeland; god-daughter Mahriah of Palestine; sister Debbie Poirier and husband Leo of Latexo; brother Kelly Cook of Grapeland; brother-in-law Jerry Vickers of Crockett; nieces and nephews Brandy Bird and wife Danielle of Latexo, Shawn Bird of Houston, Kris Bird and wife Lenel of Crockett, Jerrod Vickers and wife Tiffany of Crockett, Shelle Vickers of Llano, Stormi Cook of Palestine; great-nephews and great-nieces Braxton, Briley, Skila, Shala, Jayden and Jakob; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by son Jonathan Vickers in 2008; mother Peggy Cook in 2012 and grandmothers Ruth Stanfield and Etheline Cook.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kristi Vickers were held Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, in the First Baptist Church in Crockett. Interment followed in the Rice Family Cemetery.

Donald Eugene Foglesong

Donald Eugene Foglesong died Dec. 3, 2013.

He was born Aug. 21, 1932 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Kenneth Earl and Alice Blanche Foglesong.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Doris A Foglesong of Poynor, brother Jimmy Lee Foglesong of Oklahoma City; two daughters Nessa England and Gena Bull both of Ft. Worth; five step children Eva Aills of Tyler, Gene Gehring of Arlington, Keith Gehring of Keller, Jamie Wallace of LaRue, Karen Byrd of Troup; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was a swim coach and teacher for 30 years retiring in 1986.

Don also loved his farm, The Foglerosa, just outside of Poynor.

He was dearly loved by many and will be missed.

But he has gone to be with the Lord, and we know we will see him again, the family said.

Roy Harold Cathey

Funeral services for Roy Harold Cathey, 70, of Frankston were held Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Frankston with the Rev. George Folmar and the Rev J.A. Griffin officiating. Burial was at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Frankston.

Mr. Cathey went on to be with the Lord Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, in Tyler.

He was born June 25, 1943, in Trinity County to Jerry and Myrtie Cathey.

Roy attended the Assembly of God in Frankston and retired from TDCJ where he worked in transportation.

He was a loving and sweet husband and dad. He loved gardening, taking his family camping, hunting and spending time with his family outdoors. His favorite games to play with his grandchildren were washers and horseshoes. Roy also loved his dogs and his horse.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Glen Cathey and R.H. Cathey and a sister Eloise Henderson

Survivors include his wife of 45 years Brenda Cathey of Frankston; sons Ray Cathey of Baytown, Rory Rothrock and wife Theresa of Butler Ga. and Kevin Rothrock of Frankston; daughters Kerri Terrell and husband Mark of Frankston, Kelli Pitts and husband Chet of Bossier City La., Kristi Moraga and husband John of Castaic Calif.; a brother Bobby Cathey and wife Katy of Spring; sisters Opal Haynes of Livingston, Bertha Lee Rasbeary of Groveton, Shirley Hough and husband R.K. of Carthage and Dorothy Wheeler of Buna; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joel Wheeler, Charles Wheeler, John Haynes, Chris Cathey, Richard Hough and Nathan Hough.

John Brasher

A memorial service for John Brasher of Dallas, son of W. C. Brasher of Frankston, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Frankston.

John Brasher was born on March 25, 1959, to parents William Brasher and Judy (Jackson). He died on Dec. 8, 2013, at the age of 54.

He enjoyed duck hunting and bass fishing, loved trains and was passionate about photography and painting. He collected military and World War II memorabilia.

He graduated from W. W. Samuel High School in 1978 and earned his associates’ degree in fine arts from Eastfield College. He worked as a senior graphic designer for Raytheon in Garland.

John will be remembered as a considerate man who gave everything to his work and family. He was always willing to help anyone and quick to offer his knowledge and talent. He had a great sense of humor that could make you laugh until you cried. He was a Catholic by faith and a lifetime member of the Commemorative Air Force.

John was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Brasher.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years Karen; his father William Brasher; daughters Nicole Brasher and Jennifer Cason; brother Bill Brasher and wife Christie; sister Lee Ann Haynes; nieces Shelby Brasher, Mallory Brasher, Jennifer Norris; nephew Kevin Haynes; and best friend Luis Martinez.

The family requests donations be made to St. Charles Church in memory of John.

Patricia Ann Rhoten

Patricia Ann Rhoten, age 55, of Frankston, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at her home.

She was born on December 27, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Clyde and Nora Faye McNeely Malone.

Patricia was a homemaker and teacher to the many kids she cared for.

She was a foster mom who took in countless children over the year and provided a safe and loving home.

Patricia was a member of the Assembly of God faith. She had a deep love for the beach and enjoyed dancing, even when no one was watching.

Patricia is survived by two daughters, Amber Rhoten and Suzy Rhoten; brother, Jimmy Malone, and wife Gail, sister, Beverly Cook; and mother, Faye Muscatto, all of Tyler.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Nicholas Rhoten and Christopher Rhoten, brother, Richard Malone, and father, Clyde Malone.

A memorial was held Friday, December 13, 2013, at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler/

Patricia B. Montrose

Funeral services for Patricia B. Montrose, 74, of Frankston were held Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Frankston with the Rev. Scott Wiley officiating.

Burial was at Foster Cemetery in Poynor. Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Frankston.

Mrs. Montrose passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013, in Tyler.

She was born Feb. 6, 1939, in Rock City, Illinois. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Frankston and was a librarian with the Frankston Depot Library.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Edith Stabenow Barr; and grandson Joshua Montrose.

Survivors include her husband Wayne Montrose of Frankston; sons Larry Montrose and wife Linda of Poynor, A.W. “Bud” Montrose and wife Sandy of Whitehouse, Daniel Montrose and wife Keva of Ft. Worth; daughter Paulette “Lori” Johnson of Frankston; two brothers; six sisters; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Dean Barr, James Barr, Nick Stiefer, Zach Stiefer, John Montrose, and Terry Couey.

Honorary pallbearer was Dan Montrose.

Ruby Ewell Pierson

Funeral services for Ruby Ewell Pierson, 93, of Dallas and formerly of Frankston, were held Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, a Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Mr. Pierson was buried in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Services were under direction of Williams Funeral Home.

Mr. Pierson died Dec. 17, 2013 in Dallas. He was born Dec. 27, 1919, in Frankston and attended Frankston public school.

he was an active member and deacon of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife Willie M. Pierson, his parents and a daughter.
