Geneva Austin
Funeral services for Geneva "Big Momma" Austin, 73, of Frankston were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, at Frankston High School auditorium with the Rev. Lonnie Ross officiating.
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankston, under direction of Mercy Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Austin died Sunday, July 25, in a Tyler hospital.
She was born Oct. 9, 1925, in Corinth community and attended school in Cherokee County and Smith County.
Mrs. Austin was a housekeeper and member of Pine Spring Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include sons, Willie Lee Austin and Finous Austin of Frankston; daughters, Debra Ann Austin and Dorothy Ruth Hatton, both of Frankston; sister, Malinda Johnson, Tyler; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were James Bill, Charlie Earl Field, Danny Donnell, Roger Wayne Hurd, Elbert Donnell and Robert Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Marvin Gray, Larry Clayborn, Ricky Crear, Earl B. Hurd, Forest Field and Lonnie B. Hurd.
Wanda M. Williams
NECHES - Funeral services for Wanda Minton Williams, 54, of Neches, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, at First Baptist Church, Neches, with the Rev. Charles Grasty, Robert Guthrie and Sister Etta Bell Guthrie officiating.
Burial was in Neches City Cemetery under direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
Mrs. Williams died Thursday, July 29, in Tyler.
She was born May 22, 1945 in Anderson County to the late Ruby Elrod and J.D. Minton Sr.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and worked for nine years at Marsh Mobile homes in Jacksonville. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Neches.
Survivors include her husband, Alton W. Williams, Neches; sons, Steven Williams and Samuel H. Williams, both of Neches; sister, Linda Hosch, Neches; brothers, J.D. Minton Jr., Palestine, Bill Minton and Robert Minton, both of Neches; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James G. Hambhlet, Travis Hambhlet, Robert Minton Jr., Ricky Linder, Bill Coffin and Chris Moore.
Honorary pallbearers were Roy "Jr." Rowell and J.D. Minton.

Van Allen Williams
Funeral services for Van Allen Williams, 43, of Chandler, formerly of Water Valley, Miss., were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, in Thompson Funeral Home chapel in Frankston with the Rev. Bob Sexton officiating.
Burial was in Poynor Cemetery.
Mr. Williams died Tuesday, Aug. 10, in Henderson County.
He was born in Memphis, Tenn., and lived in Chandler one year. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Kelly Williams of Sidney, Neb.; daughters, Sherrie Williams and Venassa Williams of Sidney, Neb.; brother, Curtis Williams Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Melodye Turner of Chandler and Joanne Arnoult of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty Morris
LARUE - Funeral services for Betty Morris, 86, of LaRue, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at LaRue United Methodist Church with the Revs. Terry Adair and Edwin McDaniel officiating
Burial was in LaRue Cemetery under direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home, Athens.
Mrs. Morris died Sunday, Aug. 22.
She was born July 15, 1913, to the late Bruce and Mary Antoinette Nash and was a lifelong resident of the LaRue area.
Mrs. Morris was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by a daughter, Lillie Ramsey.
Survivors include a daughter, Antoinette Dunn, LaRue; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Hugh Ramsey, Todd Moss, Dennis Haws, Floyd Dunlap, Raymond McDaniel, James Dunn, Ronny Dunn and Michael Dunn.
Rev. C.L. Case
Rev. C.L. Case of San Antonio died Friday, Aug. 20, after a brief illness.
Prayer service was held Monday, Aug. 23 and a church service was held at Sunset Ridge Church of Christ.
Interment was at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Ellen (Francisco); sons, Con L. Case and wife, Tammy, of Stockton, Calif., and Michael W. Case and wife, Genene, of North Little Rock, Ark.; daughter, Deborah Case Sandoval and partner, Michael Moore of San Antonio; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Steve Case of Mt. Sterling, Ohio and Denver Case of Camden-On-Gauley, W. V.; sister, Ilene Thompson of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Therapy Research Center of San Antonio, or Gideon International Bible
Rev. Floyd McCuin
Funeral services for the Rev. Floyd McCuin, 95, of Frankston were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Pine Springs Baptist Church, Frankston, with the Rev. Lonnie Ross officiating.
Burial was in Bethel Cemetery at LaRue, under direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co.
Rev. McCuin died Thursday, Aug. 12, in Frankston.
He was born Oct. 10, 1903 in Frankston and attended public school in the Pleasant Ridge Community.
Rev. McCuin was affiliated with the CME Methodist Church. He was a retired minister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine McCuin; four sons, Matthew McCuin and Loyce McCuin, both of Athens; Orlaska Ray McCuin and the Rev. Felton McCuin, both of Dallas; three daughters, Mearline Wilson of Tyler, Orell Butler and Shirley Johnson, both of Dallas; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends of the family served as pallbearers.
Frances Morgan
LARUE - Funeral services for Frances Adele Morgan, 79, Grand Prairie, mother of a LaRue resident, were held Tuesday, Aug. 24 at English Funeral Home chapel, Hawkins, with the Rev. Virgil Wyatt officiating.
Burial was in the Hawkins Cemetery.
Mrs. Morgan died Aug. 14 in an Arlington hospital.
She was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Buffalo to the late William and Minnie Graham. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church, Grand Prairie. She was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Graham.
Survivors include sons, Wayne and Charles Lee Morgan, both of Grand Prairie; daughter, Sue Wagner, LaRue; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mildred Morris
Funeral services for Mildred Morris, 83, of Frankston were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, in Mixon Missionary Baptist Church with Evan Nielsen and Brent Hill officiating.
Burial was in Mixon Cemetery under direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home of Jacksonville.
Mrs. Morris died Sunday, Aug. 15, in Tyler.
She was born in Archer County and was a housewife and member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include her husband, Sidney E. Morris of Frankston; daughter, Lavenia Lightfoot of Frankston; sisters, Sylvania Chain of Wichita Falls and Juanita Byrd of Archer City; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Don Taylor, Donnie Taylor, Michael Taylor, Adam Hill, Aaron Pointer and Chris Nielsen.
