Gail Beasley
Funeral services for Gail Beasley, 61, of Frankston, were held Wednesday, April 13, at Autry Funeral Home chapel in Frankston with the Rev. George Folmar officiating.
Burial was held at Frankston City Cemetery
Mrs. Beasley passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Tyler.
She was born November 19, 1949 in Houston.
Mrs. Beasley was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Berryville and was an English teacher and speech teacher at Jacksonville College and Tyler Junior College.
She is preceded in death by her father James Harrington.
Survivors include her husband John Beasley; sons Scott Beasley of Houston and Shawn Beasley of Waco; daughter Christie Hale and husband David of Frankston; brother James Harrington II and wife Minnie of Frankston; sister Marceil Guillott of Frankston; and three grandchildren Dylan Beasley, Abbie Hale and Christopher Hale.
Pallbearers were Scott Beasley, Shawn Beasley, John Beasley, Dylan Beasley, Adrian “Snapper” Guillott, David Hale and Jimmy Harrington II.
Larry Lee Pipes
Larry Lee Pipes went in peace to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 11, 2011.
Larry was born Jan. 19, 1936 in Frankston, to the late Ruby and Roy Lee Pipes.
A lifelong resident of East Texas, Larry graduated from Frankston High School and later attended Sam Houston State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural science in 1959.
He would go on to earn his masters degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in education.
Immediately upon graduation, he taught agriculture and shop at Gaston High School. Under his guidance, the Gaston High School FFA sponsored its first rodeo and livestock show.
Larry would serve as a substitute teacher for Henderson ISD while devoting the majority of his time to the development of his Pipes 5 Simmental/Simbrah Ranch.
Affectionately called Pipes by his friends he also taught 10 years at Laneville High School.
Larry and his wife Hannah Joy Felchak, were married in 1958 and remained a loving and devoted couple until his passing.
Together, they parented their loving children Van and Mike Boyd of The Woodlands, Jana and Harold Cox of Lake Cherokee, and Larry Lee II and Tandy Pipes of Tyler.
Pipes is also survived by his nine grandchildren who simply knew him as Peppy.
His grandchildren are Brandon and Melody Boyd of The Woodlands, Micah and Chris Hernandez of Dallas, Casey and David Fisk of Dallas, Maleiah and Ryan Rogers of Dallas, Adam and Rachel Cox of Seattle, Wash., Rick Lager of San Antonio, Jamie Lager of Tyler, Dalton Lee Pipes of Tyler, and Hanlee Grace Pipes of Tyler.
Peppy also had four great-grandchildren: Everlee Ash Rogers of Dallas, Vance Brian Hernandez of Dallas, Colt Michael Boyd of The Woodlands, and Ella Beth Adams of Tyler.
Larry was actively involved in several ranching associations with the passion of his life being Simmental cattle.
Pipes developed the first show string of Simbrah and put them on display at the national convention in Mississippi. He served as president of the East Texas Simmental Association.
His Pipes 5 Ranch Family was the initial recipient of the Texas Simmental Family of the Year.
Pipes was a member of the Masonic Lodge Clinton No. 23 in Henderson and is a Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason as well as a Shriner.
Private services for Larry were held Wednesday, April 13, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
A public celebratory memorial service was also held Wednesday, April 11, at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Henderson where he was a member.
The family asks that gifts of remembrance be directed to Saint Paul United Methodist Church in honor of Larry Lee Pipes.

Daniel ‘Danny’ Ranford
Daniel “Danny” Wayne Ranford, 57, of Frankston, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011.
Danny was born on Feb. 25, 1954 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Bill Ranford and Jean Johnson.
He was a graduate of Spring Branch High School in Houston, longtime resident of Frankston, and previous owner of the Hickory House BBQ.
He is survived by his parents Bill and Jean Johnson of Frankston; sister Deborah of Ladonia; sister Tracey of Henderson; two nieces and a nephew.
Danny was preceded in death by his beloved cat, Toots.
There was a private graveside service. A memorial service for friends and family was held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Frankston.

Linda Kay Gunn
Funeral services for Linda Kay Gunn, 57, of Frankston, were held Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Autry Funeral Home chapel in Frankston with Steve Handley officiating.
Burial was to follow at Frankston City Cemetery.
Mrs. Gunn passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Tyler.
She was born May 8, 1953 in Wyandotte, MI.
Mrs. Gunn was a Baptist and a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents James Graff Sr. and Ella Carey Graff, brothers James Graff Jr. and Dean Graff, brother and sister-in-law Charles and Kay Graff, and sister-in-law Brenda Graff.
Survivors include husband Jimmy Gunn of Frankston; daughter Tonya Barnett of Poynor; sons Matthew Ray Jaynes of Wyandotte, MI, Jason Perry Jaynes of Frankston and Bradley Allen Jaynes of Frankston; sisters Joan Mika of Georgia, Donna Bowler and husband Jerry of Michigan, Rose Carone and husband Doug of Michigan, and Cheryl Gibbs and husband Ronald of Michigan; brothers Jack Graff and wife Beverly of Michigan, William Graff of Michigan, Alvin Graff of Michigan, Robert Graff and wife Bobbi of North Carolina and Gregory Graff and wife Cheryl of Michigan; and sister-in-law Paulette Graff of Michigan.
Pallbearers were Matthew Ray Jaynes, Jason Perry Jaynes, Bradley Allen Jaynes, Timothy Jaynes, Kyle Barnett Jr. and Doug Carone Jr.
